Hi Y'all!!!

I've missed ya! I've missed the store...I've missed seeing your pages...I've missed life. For those of you who don't know, the very day the new Flourish with a Bling product arrived from Australia, I went home early sick. I have been out for almost 2 weeks. Today was my first full day back and my voice still sounds like I should be in a hospital. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes. Hopefully, I will continue to do better each day and be fully back to my old self in no time.

December Service Project



Queen for a Day is one of our newest non-profit organizations we support here at Scrapnesia. Queen for a day gives pediatric cancer patients a reason to be a kid again. They host tea parties for girls to be pampered with makeovers, manicures, and their very own coronation ceremony. Each patient receives a real tiara donated by beauty queens across the nation! When a child smiles in the mirror after her makeover and laughs, she has defeated her illness. The Queen for a Day crown symbolizes victory as she is a champion over her illness. For the boys, they encourage the qualities of bravery and courage through the Heroes program based on firefighters and police officers.

Queen for a Day needs our help in the following 2 ways:

They have a scrapbook of all their events that they use to show the parents of the patients
what the organization provides for the children. They also use this scrapbook to show at fundraising events. I have several envelopes of pictures here at Scrapnesia that need to be scrapbooked. Please come by the store anytime this month and donate the use of your time to scrapbook their pages for them. Any supplies purchased to make their pages may be purchased at a 25% discount.



The organization also does not have very many supplies for scrapbooking. I am collecting supplies for them. We all have old paper, stickers, tools, etc. that we purchased and now think "What was I thinking?" or "I bought this twice before." You can drop off anything you care to donate to this cause here at Scrapnesia.

January 1st Crop



For three years you have asked for a New Years Day crop. I have stated that I will have one if you will come, but I am not going to sit here by myself. I have scheduled one this year for you from 10am till 10pm for only $10.00. However, prepayment is required by 8pm on December 30th. If we don't have enough people prepayed, then there will be no crop on New Year's Day. Don't forget to reserve your spot early.



Either way, the store is closed on New Year's Day. The store will only be open to croppers if there is a crop.

No, Daisy is not the name of the Duke line  that we ordered. We ordered the Jessie Flourish line.  Poor Uncle Jessie.  Nobody remembered him.  

Luke was the name of the other Duke, but we didn't order Luke this time around.  Grace was the name for a prayer and Jack Vine is the answer to "Shiny and Leafy"

NEW PRODUCT WAIT SURVIVAL GAME

Scrapnesia is anxiously awaiting a brand spankin' new product. Never before sold in the US. Don't know when they will arrive. Could be tomorrow, could be another week or two. It's all up to customs.
