MAY 2011 GREAT IMPRESSIONS STAMPS JUST ARRIVED

The May Stamps and ArtBoard arrived today! I just now finished putting them on the shelf!  Get them before they are gone!

Each month we will display Great Impressions' Sample ArtBoard in our store with card ideas featuring the entire selection of stamps offered each month. ONE stamp is pre-selected monthly by Great Impressions as THE Stamp of the Month.  When you purchase one or more of the other stamps on the sample board at REGULAR price, you can then may buy the selected STAMP OF THE MONTH AT HALF PRICE!

Fabulous Happenings This Week

Hi Y'all!!!  

I'm back! I'm so sorry about the crazy, flooky hours last week.  I had the migraine week of my lifetime last week. Every time I thought I was back, my head would knock me back down. Then, when I finally managed to open the store, there wasn't any power. We finally opened back up at the end of the week. I thank you all for being understanding and supporting me while I was unable to even function enough to acknowledge that I was alive, much less that I own a store.

Now, since I am back get ready to use that extra-hold hairspray to keep your hair in place while you read about all the exciting events we are getting ready for here at Scrapnesia! Don't miss our National Scrapbook Day Celebration on May 13th & 14th!  Also, you'll want to get all gussied up for our MOMAS Charity Fund-Raising Crop on June 11th and Book-Making Crop on June 25th!   • Thursday, April 28th - 7pm - Copic Markers Technique Class w/Katie - Learn more techniques on how to use the amazing Copic Markers and finish with a beautiful card w/ Katie. This month we will be working on Browns. Colors needed will include E40, E42, E44, E47 and E49. $15

Upcoming Classes to RememberStudents should bring a "class kit" when taking classes/workshops at Scrapnesia. Generally, a "Class Kit" includes: scissors, paper trimmer, adhesives, ruler, journaling pen, and kraft knife. Don’t forget to bring your Cricut machine, power cords, mats, and adhesives! This month we will be working with how to cut at 1/10 of an inch and in millimeters.     • Saturday, June 25th ~ 11:00am-8:00pm - MOMAS Drop-In Charity Book Making Crop for M. Bright Books ~ Volunteers needed for an hour or all day. Just bring your favorite tools and adhesives. Paper and embellishments are provided. Please let us know you are coming as a lite dinner will also be provided. Recipients of M. Bright books are Alzheimer/dementia patients.


    • Class/Crop Registration Policy: 
      • Registration closes at 5pm two business days prior to the class/crop.
      • Payment is due at time of registration.
      • Scrapnesia reserves the right to cancel any class/crop due to illness, inclement weather or registration of less than the required number of people. 
      • Store Credit will be offered up to 48 hours before a scheduled class/crop.
      • If you cancel within 48 hours of the class/crop you will be charged the class/crop fee, however you will be given a class kit/goodie bag, if applicable, with materials and instructions to complete the project on your own. 
      • If a class/crop is canceled by Scrapnesia, we will do our best to re-schedule the class/crop in a timely manner. In such cases, customers can choose to attend the re-scheduled class/crop, apply their fee to another class/crop, or receive a store credit. 
      • Class cancellations due to weather will be posted on the main page of the website and all registered students will be notified by phone as soon as possible. We recommend students call the store to confirm a class/crop during questionable weather.

  • Friday, April 15th ~ 6pm-12am - ScrapTherapy - Also known as a Crop. Scrapbookers and cardmakers unite, bringing their pictures and supplies and work on their scrapbooks, cards or other crafts while enjoying other's company. $5

  • Saturday, April 16th ~ 11:30am-3:00pm ~ Quick Quotes RX Club Class- This is one of QuickQuotes' newest class kits and it is now exclusive to independent retailers. All papers and embellishments are included. You will need to bring your adhesives (Beacons 3-in-1 or Zip Dry, Glue Dots & Tacky Tape, and paper adhesive), paper trimmer, bone folder, and photos (if desired) to complete the project!
